A Day at the Derby begins with a cutscene, but don’t expect next generation 3D graphics. These are 2D cartoon graphics, not up to much, and whilst they are fine on the base game and even in the bonus round, we’re not sure why Rival Gaming exposed them via a cutscene. Unfortunately, big wins are few and far between on A Day at the Derby, and it’s not uncommon to go many spins without getting anything, only to be hit with a few tiny wins that return less than a quarter of your stake. This is the sort of thing that frustrates many slot fans.
